Geordie Lass enters the Xmas period on top of the table. 16 points behind is StewartElginCity. There is still time to wish for more points from Santa. Merry Christmas everyone.

Well domestic bliss is shatter as Geordie Lass leads Neefie Noodle by 14 points. Joe got zero points this week and is tied on 38 in third place with StewartElginCity.

Geordie Lass has extended her lead at the top. It's pretty much tight in the middle.

Well there has been a whole month and 3 games. I was hoping to leave this for a bit longer as while I haven't I Elgin have been 3 games un-beaten!

No change at the top as Geordle Lass is still top and still bragging. Her lead is down to 9 points! Flyfisher is 2nd while I am up to 3rd! StewartElginCity is 4th!

After 2 whole weeks I've finished my project I've finally got round to up-dating the table. I also had a massive hangover on Sunday. Well you would have after the past two results. 

Geordie Lass is still boasting about being top. Now a massive 10 points in the lead. Exile is leading the chasing pack. Bit like the Div 3 table. Elgin Deep and Elgin Buddie are at the bottom. 

September 13th 2008

Ladies and Gentlemen, the weeks rest seems to have given some of you a boost. Geordie Lass fluked 10 points, StewartElginCity managed 7 points as did I. Still at the top and giving me more earache is Geordie Lass. Exile is in Second 7 points behind and 1 point behine Exile is Flyfisher. 

Well guys you let me down. Geordie Lass is still top. Not many of us manage many posts if in fact any! 

August 16th and 23rd table, both at the same time!!

Sorry there was no table last week, but I was in Elgin. You may have heard of it?

Anyway how am I going to live with her for the next week? I need someone to take over at the top. Geordie Lass takes over at the top on 21 points. Exile is in second only 4 points behind. The rest of us, well, were not too good are we? 

Elgincity takes over at the top of the prediction league. Only a point a head at the moment. There was a newbee. Welcome to bbwiddow. Unfortunately you scored a big fat zero.  Keep trying. There has been weeks where even the regulars score nothing. 

August 2nd 2008 Prediction League

Well we are back up and running after a summer of poncy namby-pamby European football. The campiagn didn't get off to a good start with a 3-0 defeat to Stenny. Well the scoreline didn't reflect the match, so I guess we can take some encouragement from that. 

I couldn't be bothered to produce a new background, but I'm sure I'll come up with something and tweek it as the season goes on. If Lours takes enough pics!!!!!

Well defending champion Lethen will be looking at the table up-side down. After spending all last season looking down on us all, it's an un-familiar position with him looking up at the rest of us. The early pacesetter is Barco65 with 7 points. BB1921 takes up 2nd place with 5 points and I'm in 3rd with 4 points. Congratulations to everyone as we all got points! Give yourselves a round of applause.

Our winner of the Euro 2008 is Joe. Congratulations. Runner up is MartyBhoy. The winner f the regular is league Lethen came third.  The rest of the competitors are were easily matched. Except ElginDeep and CityMad. CityMad only put 1 score in and nearly had a 100% record. 

After the Quarter FInals

Well, well. well, there was a lot of surprises in the quarter finals. To keep things fair the results are taken from after 90 mins. There for we all got nil point. Except Martybhoy who managed a collasol ONE POINT!  There are 3 games left. Like the Euros there's only for people in the running to win the title.

Hey Joe, your top of the league. 5 cores spot on and 11 correct results put Joe top and 2 points ahead of Martybhoy. Then theres 2 points seperating the rest of us, except ElginDeep. Who is a bit like France. Should never have bothered t turn up and propably out of the running too!

I've kept Holland as the shirt of choice. Another 2 great wins. 2nd choice was Croatia, who may go all the way. Next up-date after the 1/4 final games!

The 1st round of group matches Euro 2008

The 1st round of group games are over. The tournament may have kicked off on Saturday, but it really started last night. The highlight so far has been The Netherlands 3-0 victory over World Champions Italy.  

This weeks highest scorer is Joe, who only dropped points on 1 game. Our reigning champion Lethen has yet to start firing on all cylinders (a bit like the Euro and World champions) and is in 3rd.

Now, I put up the fixtures a few days in advance, yet I can't get my score in 1 day in advance! So I'm bottom. Oh.... Geordie Lass said I better be below her. I had to reply, Don't worry - I'm below everyone!

Keep on playing and there is still much to play for!!!!

2007/2008 - Final Table

Well here it is. The fianl table. The winner is......


LETHEN!

Leading from nearly the beginng Lethen has played each week and picked up a record equalling 127 point. 127 points is the top score for the 3rd year running!.

Thanks to all that have played this season. Wel done to Mini who came 2nd, MartyBhoy who came 3rd. Top Lady this year is Maureen who is 4th. The top scorer with the most correct results was in 5th, which was Skinny.

So there is the little matter of the table .....

Well that's the season over for The football team, but it's not for the prediction League. It's like the Premier League in England, with the top 2 clear fighting it out. There is still plenty of points on offer to see how far up you can finish.

There is 1 weks full fixtures left, and the play-offs left, so there is 10 games left in total.

Well here's the table. Lethen still leads the table, but only by 4 points now. There's 3 weeks to go, then the play-offs. I hope that all those that are more than 45 points behind still play.

Here we go. It's been a bit chaotic and I've finally been through the scores and added them up. Ain't I clever.

Well here is the much antipacated table. Sorry it took so long, but my compuer got a virus and the whole thing went tit's up. So I'm back with a clean computer and a lot of disk space. 

In the past 3 weeks Elgindeep got 11 results correct out of 13! Unfotunately most people got 8 or 9.  

We have a new entry - FortriuPict, who got 4 out of 5!

Lethen missed out on some points this week. There lead is now only 4 points. Mini got 3 out of the 5 scores spot on. Most people got 10 points out of the past 3 weeks games.
